Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov announced that "no one will draft unprepared civilians and send them to frontlines" during mobilization.

In his video address, Reznikov emphasized that over 100 thousand Ukrainians had already joined Territorial Defense Forces. Over 200 thousand Ukrainian citizens living in Europe returned to fight for their country, joined by foreign volunteers ready to combat Russian occupiers.

"I am speaking to all conscripted Ukrainians: our country is under martial law, there is mobilization. The Commander of Armed Forces asks you to keep in touch and not lose contact. The country needs you! If you moved to other regions with your family, report to the local conscription office," said the Minister.

"No one will draft unprepared civilians and send them to frontlines. It just doesn't make sense. On the contrary, our forces are stalling a more numerous enemy because they are motivated, better trained and equipped. We will not defend Russia with numbers. We will beat it with quality. Only those with skills, weapons and equipment will be joining combat units," emphasized Resnikov.

The Minister asked people to keep in touch with local conscription offices. It is crucial not only for the defense but also for the economy.

"As for the economy: the was has a tremendous impact on the country. This year we will have less production and less harvest. We will have to liberate our fields and then demine them. It will take time. We will only defeat Russia if our economy remains functional and creates opportunities for defense. Our partners, international financial organizations, have already pledged significant help to Ukraine. After our victory, we will quickly rebuild. But before the victory, we have to keep working as much as we can."

Earlier, General Commandment provided updated statistics of the enemy's losses: 130 airplanes and helicopters, 60 fuel cisterns, over 1.1 thousand infantry fighting vehicles. From the beginning of the war, over 12 Russian military personnel were killed.
