The Security Service of Ukraine has blocked the work of a sanctioned factory in Dnipro, which was going to resume supplies for the russian military-industrial complex.

This was reported by the SSU press service.

The factory produced components for aircraft, missile systems and submarines, as well as dual-purpose goods.

In 2021 only, it produced 340 tons of these products worth more than 450 million hryvnias.

According to investigators, the manufactured goods were transported to the territory of the russian federation. There, the occupants redistributed the received products among their military plants and other facilities of the military-industrial complex.

"Since the founder of the plant is a russian corporation specializing in the production and modernization of weapons and military equipment, it was subjected to sanctions by the National Security and Defense Council last year," the report says.

To evade the existing restrictions, the russian side wanted to reregister the plant to a Ukrainian legal entity and continue its work to the detriment of the state security of Ukraine.

"The SSU prevented this and blocked the operation of the company. Within the criminal proceedings under Art. 110-2 of the Criminal Code, urgent investigative actions continue," the report says.

The occupants are going to launch a repair base for military equipment at the Illich Iron and Steel Works in Mariupol.
