The russian army's attack on the Lviv region that night was one of the largest by the number of missiles. Thanks to the work of anti-aircraft defense, none of the missiles hit Lviv.

This was reported by the city mayor Andriy Sadovyy.

"There were two air raids and two massive waves of missile attacks in the Lviv region that night. Not a single missile landed in Lviv. The air defense forces worked well. So we don't know if our city was a target this time," he wrote on Facebook.

Sadovyy noted that in one of the villages of the Yavoriv district, the missile debris partially damaged the object of railway infrastructure. In the surrounding houses, the windows broke out.

"And this is all in the 20-kilometer zone to the border with the European Union," noted the mayor of Lviv.

"It was one of the biggest attacks on the Lviv region in terms of the number of missiles. What will happen next is difficult to predict. So go to the shelter! Don't film missile arrivals or air defense work. Moscow agents need such videos. Don't be like the russians, please. Take care and help the military!" - he concluded.

The explosions in the Lviv region began after midnight. They were heard in the region, near the border with Poland, and therefore with NATO and the EU, as well as in the regional center. Air Defense units of the Air Command "West" shot down three cruise missiles coming from the east.

Earlier the enemy struck the Lviv region on May 15. The missiles hit the Yavoriv training range, 15 km from the border with Poland.
