The Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, Lyudmyla Denisova said that as of May 26, according to the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations and other sources in need of confirmation, 240 children have been killed and 436 injured since the russian invasion of Ukraine.

She wrote about this on her Telegram channel.

"The number of killed and wounded children is impossible to establish because the occupation troops are conducting active hostilities in Ukrainian cities," the ombudsman stressed.

According to the Office of the Prosecutor General, 232 children were killed and more than 430 were injured during the russian aggression. Most of these children were injured in the Donetsk, Kyiv, and Kharkiv regions.
