Partisans from the ATESH movement have claimed responsibility for sabotage on a railway section in Russia’s Taganrog. They say damage to a points switch could affect the movement of military trains heading to Russia’s southern grouping of forces.
This was reported by the partisan movement on Telegram.
“Disabling the points switch blocks the movement of military trains on the most important artery linking Rostov Region with Mariupol, Crimea and the southern front. This disrupts the schedule for transferring ammunition, equipment and fuel to units fighting in the Vuhledar, Orikhiv and Kherson directions, and leads to large-scale delays in supplies,” the statement said.
The partisans noted that damage to railway infrastructure in the rear can create delays across the entire logistics line. According to them, because the main line is under heavy load, even a temporary halt in traffic can trigger knock-on delays.
“Putin does not plan to stop the war despite the enormous losses, and is preparing a large-scale mobilisation. The Russian army and the Putin regime must be stopped for the common good,” ATESH concluded.
