Russian troops have been shelling Lysychansk in the Luhansk region since nighttime. In the morning, the Russians hit the city's outskirts, and now they are opening fire on other parts of the city. On March 30, in the afternoon, the Russians destroyed a kindergarten.
This was announced by the Head of the Region Military Administration, Serhiy Haidai.
"The staff of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine continues to eliminate the consequences of previous shelling. There are already other facilities that we need to extinguish, and then dismantle the rubbles there and look for people. One of them is a kindergarten, which was just renovated last year," Serhiy Haidai said.
He added that the information about the victims is being clarified.
The Head of the Region Military Administration noted that there is a catastrophic shortage of rescuers for such a large number of shellings.
