On the night of 28 December 2023, the Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine with eight Shahed UAVs from the Primorsko-Akhtarsk area in Russia.
"Seven drones were shot down by fighter aircraft, air defence units, mobile firing groups of the Air Force and the Defence Forces of Ukraine," the Ukrainian Air Force said.
The air defence forces were operating in the Dnipro, Kirovohrad and Zaporizhzhya Regions.
