The Central Election Commission (CEC) has recognised Ivan Prymachenko as an elected member of the Ukrainian parliament.
This was reported by the CEC press service.
‘The Central Election Commission received a document from the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine's Secretariat certifying the early termination of the powers of the People's Deputy of Ukraine Oleh Makarov,’ the statement said.
After reviewing this document, the CEC recognised Ivan Prymachenko, the next candidate in line on the electoral list of the Voice political party under No. 24, as the elected MP of Ukraine.
The CEC reminded that Oleh Makarov was elected in the early parliamentary elections on 21 July 2019 from the Holos political party.
It should be noted that Ivan Prymachenko is a co-founder of the largest educational platform in Ukraine, Prometheus.
He was the secretary of the Legal Policy Committee, a lawyer, public figure, and member of the Ethics Commission of the Ukrainian Bar Association.
