In the Black Sea near Snake Island, Ukrainian troops detected and destroyed an unmanned boat belonging to the Russian occupiers that was carrying explosives.
This was reported by the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"The Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in co-operation with one of the SBU special units, carried out a successful special operation in the waters of the Black Sea. Near Snake Island, an enemy unmanned surface vessel was detected and struck," the statement said.
Footage released by the Ukrainian military shows the moment the enemy target was hit. After the attack, the boat caught fire, and later detonated.
The Navy noted that the destroyed unmanned boat was fitted with explosives.
