Odesa came under another combined enemy attack overnight on 3 September. The Russians shelled the regional centre with jet-powered drones and small cruise missiles known as “Banderol”. As of the morning, it is known that 17 people were injured in the overnight attack, including three children.
According to the head of the Odesa City Military Administration, Serhii Lysak, there was a hit on a high-rise building. As a result of the damage to the building, eight people were injured, as was known overnight. Medics are providing them with the necessary assistance.
Flats on the 10th to 17th floors of the 21-storey residential building were damaged, as were cars. The damage is still being documented.
Work to deal with the aftermath of the attack is ongoing.
