On the night of 3 September, starting from 18:00 the previous day, Russia launched 163 drones at Ukraine. Air defences neutralised 135 of them. There were strikes, and debris also fell.

On the night of 3 September (from 18:00 on 2 September), the enemy attacked with 163 strike UAVs of the Shahed type (about half of them jet-powered), S8000 "Banderol", Gerbera, and decoy drones of the “Parody” type from the following directions: Millerovo, Oryol, the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk, Hvardiiske – the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defence Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:30, air defence shot down and suppressed 135 targets: 135 enemy Shahed-type UAVs (including jet-powered ones), Gerbera, and drones of other types.
Strikes by the enemy’s air attack assets were recorded at 15 locations, and debris fell in four places.
The attack is ongoing, with enemy UAVs in the airspace.
