The 1,653rd day of the Russian Federation’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. In total, 215 combat clashes were recorded over the past day. The heaviest fighting took place on the Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka axes.

Yesterday, the enemy carried out 98 air strikes, dropping 353 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the invaders deployed 10,672 kamikaze drones and conducted 2,933 attacks on settlements and our troops’ positions, 25 of them using multiple launch rocket systems.
Shelling by the enemy, in particular, hit the settlements of Bachivsk, Bezsalivka, Korenok, Ulanove, Hirky, Iskryskivshchyna, Malushyne, Neskuchne, Sopych, Atynske, Yanzhulivka, Lomlenka, Rohizne, Volfyne, Potapivka, Kruzhok, Nova Sich, Kucherivka, Sukhodil, Mala Slobidka, Simeichyne, Holyshivske, Budky, Shpyl in Sumy Region; and Krasnyi Khutir in Chernihiv Region.
Over the past day, aircraft, missile forces and artillery of the Defence Forces struck three areas where enemy manpower was concentrated, seven guns and artillery positions, three UAV control points, a workshop-warehouse, a command post and another key occupiers’ facility.
On the North Slobozhanskyi and Kursk axes over the past day, one enemy assault action was recorded. The aggressor carried out 78 attacks on our troops’ positions and on settlements. It delivered five air strikes using 11 guided aerial bombs.
On the South Slobozhanskyi axis Ukrainian units repelled seven enemy attacks. The invaders tried to advance towards the settlements of Lyman, Khatnie, Vodiane, Volokhivka, Mala Vovcha and Starytsia.
On the Kupiansk axis the enemy tried to improve its positions nine times, conducting assault actions towards Radkivka, Kivsharivka and Hlushkivka.
Attempts to break into our defences were repelled on the Lyman axis, where, according to updated information, the occupiers attacked eight times towards the settlements of Shyikivka, Dibrova, Novoselivka, Drobyshcheve and Lyman.
On the Sloviansk axis the enemy carried out eight assault actions in the area of the settlement of Kryva Luka and towards Ozerne.
On the Kramatorsk axis Russian invaders conducted one offensive action towards Yurkivka.
On the Kostiantynivka axis 25 attacks were recorded. The invaders conducted assault actions in the areas of the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Novoselivka, Mykolaipillia, Sofiivka, Vilne and Rusyn Yar.
The enemy carried out 31 attacks on the Pokrovsk axis. The occupiers tried to advance towards the settlements of Hannivka, Bilytske, Vilne, Dobropillia, Novofedorivka, Novohryshyne, Vasylivka, Serhiivka, Myrne and in the area of Molodetske, Novopidhordnie, Hryshyne and Udachne.
On the Oleksandrivka axis the enemy did not conduct assault actions.
On the Huliaipole axis the occupiers attacked our defenders’ positions four times. The enemy tried to advance towards the settlements of Dobropillia, Vozdvyzhivka and Hirke.
On the Orikhiv axis our defenders stopped five enemy attempts to advance in the area of Novoandriivka, Novoiakivlivka, Stepove, Prymorske and Mali Shcherbaky.
On the Dnipro axis the enemy did not attempt to improve its positions.
On the Volyn and Polissia axes no signs of the enemy forming offensive groupings were detected.
- Overall, over the past day, Russian invaders’ losses amounted to 1,320 personnel. Also neutralised were one armoured combat vehicle, 69 artillery systems, four multiple launch rocket systems, two air defence assets, an aircraft (confirmed for a previous period), a helicopter (confirmed for a previous period), 12 ground robotic systems, 1,875 unmanned aerial vehicles, 435 vehicles and three units of special equipment belonging to the enemy.
