The 1,654th day of the Russian Federation’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. In total, 240 combat clashes were recorded over the past day. The heaviest fighting took place on the Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka fronts.
This is stated in the General Staff’s report.
Yesterday, the enemy carried out 100 air strikes, dropping 294 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the invaders deployed 10,334 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,048 attacks on populated areas and the positions of our troops.
In Sumy region, the settlements of Korenok, Pysarivka, Bachivsk, Ulanove and Sukhodil came under enemy artillery fire. In addition, air strikes hit areas around the settlements of Tovstodubove, Esman, Sadky and Ivolzhanske.
Over the past day, the aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defence Forces struck four areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, three artillery systems, three UAV control points and one command-and-observation post.
On the North Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk fronts over the past day, our defenders stopped one enemy assault towards Bachivsk.
On the South Slobozhanshchyna front Ukrainian units repelled 22 enemy attacks. The invaders tried to advance in the areas of Kozacha Lopan, Lyman, Starytsia and Vilcha, as well as towards Okhrimivka and Bochkovе.
On the Kupiansk front the enemy attacked once towards Bohuslavka.
Attempts to break into our defences were repelled on the Lyman front, where the occupiers attacked 11 times in the areas of Lyman and Dibrova, as well as towards Hrekivka, Kopanky, Novoiehorivka, Novoselivka and Drobyshove.
On the Sloviansk front the enemy carried out ten assault actions in the areas of Kalenyky and Ozerne, as well as towards Kryva Luka.
On the Kramatorsk front the enemy did not conduct any assault actions over the past day.
On the Kostiantynivka front 24 attacks were recorded. The invaders conducted assault actions in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Mykolaipillia and Raiske, as well as towards Novohryhorivka, Novopavlivka and Pavlivka.
The largest number of assault actions was recorded on the Pokrovsk front, where our defenders stopped 38 attacks. The enemy was active in the areas of Bilytske, Serhiivka, Udachne and Molodetske, and also launched assaults towards Novyi Donbas, Svitle, Vilne, Sofiivka, Toretske, Pryiut, Shevchenko, Dobropillia, Novohryshyne and Novopavlivka.
On the Oleksandrivka front the invaders carried out two attacks towards the settlements of Rybne and Yehorivka.
On the Huliaipole front the occupiers attacked seven times towards Vozdvyzhivka.
On the Orikhiv front our defenders stopped three attempts by the enemy to advance in the areas of Orikhiv and Prymorske.
On the Dnipro front the enemy did not conduct any assault actions over the past day.
On the Volyn and Polissia fronts no signs of the enemy forming offensive groupings were detected.
Ukrainian defenders continue the systematic destruction of the enemy and are putting up effective resistance along all sections of the front.
- In total, over the past day the losses of the Russian invaders amounted to 1,440 personnel. One tank, eight armoured combat vehicles, 77 artillery systems, three multiple launch rocket systems, four air defence assets, 13 ground robotic systems, 1,890 unmanned aerial vehicles, 492 vehicles and eight units of special equipment were also destroyed.
