On the night of 4 September, starting from 18:00, Russia attacked Ukraine with an Kh-31 guided air-launched missile and 121 drones. About half of the UAVs were jet-powered.
As of 9:30, according to preliminary information, air defence neutralised 103 enemy UAVs of the Shahed and Gerbera types, drones of other types, and S8000 ‘Banderol’ UAVs, in the north, south, east and centre of the country. This was reported by the Air Force.
“Hits by the enemy’s air attack assets were recorded at 15 locations, as well as the fall of downed targets (debris) at 6 locations,” the statement said.
The attack is ongoing.
- Among the affected cities is Odesa, which the enemy struck early in the morning. One person was killed and three others were injured. The strike hit a densely populated area.
