The 1,655th day of Russia’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. Overall, 236 combat clashes were recorded on the front line over the past day.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Yesterday, the enemy carried out 87 air strikes, dropping 317 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the invaders used 10,816 kamikaze drones and conducted 2,723 attacks on populated areas and our troops’ positions, including 22 using multiple launch rocket systems.
In Sumy Region, the enemy’s artillery shelled the settlements of Sopych, Baranivka, Neskuchne, Korenok, Potapivka, Mohrytsia, Kucherivka, Iskryskivshchyna, Rohizne, Hirky, Bachivsk and Volfyne.
Over the past day, the Defence Forces’ aviation, missile troops and artillery struck 11 areas where enemy manpower was concentrated, four guns and artillery positions, one UAV control point, one air-defence asset, and another important occupiers’ facility.
On the North Slobozhanskyi and Kursk axes, three enemy assault actions were recorded over the past day. The aggressor carried out 168 attacks on our troops’ positions and populated areas, and delivered four air strikes using 13 guided aerial bombs.
On the South Slobozhanskyi axis, Ukrainian units repelled 12 enemy attacks. The invaders tried to advance towards the settlements of Loshakove, Okhrimivka, Chuhunivka, Zarubynka, Izbytske and Lyman, as well as in the area of Starytsia.
On the Kupiansk axis, the enemy tried to improve its positions 11 times, conducting assault actions towards the settlements of Radkivka, Kivsharivka, Dovhenke, Kurylivka and Kupiansk.
Attempts to break into our defences were repelled on the Lyman axis, where, according to updated information, the occupiers attacked nine times towards the settlements of Shyikivka, Drobyshcheve, Lyman and Dibrova, and in the area of Novoselivka
On the Sloviansk axis, the enemy carried out six assault actions near Ozerne, Rai-Oleksandrivka and Kryva Luka.
On the Kramatorsk axis, Russian invaders conducted one offensive action towards Nykonorivka.
On the Kostiantynivka axis, 21 attacks were recorded. The invaders conducted assault actions near Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Rusyn Yar, Sofiivka and Nove Shakhove, and towards the settlements of Pavlivka, Vilne and Stepanivka.
The enemy carried out 40 attacks on the Pokrovsk axis. The occupiers tried to advance towards the settlements of Bilytske, Novyi Donbas, Shevchenko, Matiasheve, Serhiivka, Myrne and Novopavlivka, as well as in the areas of the settlements of Udachne and Molodetske.
Our defenders repelled two occupier attacks on the Oleksandrivka axis in the area of Novoheorhiivka and Nove Zaporizhzhia.
On the Huliaipole axis, the occupiers attacked our defenders’ positions 13 times. The enemy tried to advance in the directions of the settlements of Dobropillia, Vozdvyzhivka, Kopani, Verkhnia Tersa, Huliaipilske, Tsvitkove and Charivne.
On the Orikhiv axis, our defenders stopped four enemy attempts to move forward in the areas of Mala Tokmachka, Stepnohirsk and Shcherbaky.
On the Dnipro axis, no enemy offensive actions were recorded.
On the Volyn and Polissia axes, no signs of the enemy forming offensive groupings were detected.
- Overall, over the past day, Russian invaders’ losses amounted to 1,260 personnel. Three tanks, one armoured fighting vehicle, 65 artillery systems, five multiple launch rocket systems, 13 ground robotic systems, 1,898 unmanned aerial vehicles, 401 vehicles and eight units of special equipment were also destroyed.
