On the morning of 5 September, Russian forces attacked Kherson and the settlement of Molodizhne with strike drones. Seven people were injured in the attacks, and all are receiving medical care.

At around 06:30 in Kherson’s Korabelnyi district, a 72-year-old man was injured in a Russian drone attack. He sustained blast injuries, an open fracture of a leg bone, and multiple shrapnel wounds to the chest and limbs.
At approximately 07:00, Russian troops attacked a 59-year-old Kherson resident. Preliminary reports indicate he sustained a blast injury.
Another hour later, two men aged 77 and 62 were hit. Both suffered blast injuries. The 77-year-old man was also diagnosed with shrapnel wounds to the chest, while the 62-year-old sustained a traumatic amputation of a finger.
All four casualties are in hospital. Doctors are providing the necessary care.
At around 06:30, a Russian drone attacked Molodizhne. Two local women aged 56 and 60 were injured in the strike.
They were diagnosed with blast injuries and shrapnel wounds to their arms. The 56-year-old woman was prescribed outpatient treatment, while the 60-year-old casualty was hospitalised.

It later emerged that there was another casualty: a 56-year-old nurse who came under attack on her way to work.
She was diagnosed with concussion and shrapnel wounds to her arm and leg. After receiving medical care, the woman was discharged for outpatient treatment.
