The 1,656th day of Russia’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. Over the past day, 245 combat clashes were recorded on the front line.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Yesterday, the enemy carried out 87 air strikes, dropping 288 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the invaders used 8,340 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,389 attacks on populated areas and the positions of our troops, 32 of them using multiple launch rocket systems.
Enemy shelling, in particular, hit the settlements of Bachivsk, Bezsalivka, Korenok, Ulanove, Iskryskivshchyna, Malushyne, Neskuchne, Rohizne, Atynske, Volfyne, Nova Sich, Tovstodubove, Mala Slobidka, Esman, Starykove, Yastrubshchyna in Sumy Region; Leonivka and Lohy in Chernihiv Region. Vilna Sloboda was hit by an air strike.
Over the past day, aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defence Forces struck three areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, three UAV control points, one important facility and two occupiers’ command posts.
On the North Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes, five enemy assault actions were recorded over the past day. The aggressor carried out 40 attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas, including one using MLRS. It launched two air strikes using five guided aerial bombs.
On the South Slobozhanshchyna axis, Ukrainian units repelled nine enemy attacks. The invaders tried to advance towards the settlements of Kozacha Lopan, Prylipka, Lyman, Izbytske, Zakharivka, Kupyne, Mala Vovcha, Vodiane and Khatnie.
On the Kupiansk axis, the enemy tried to improve its positions nine times, conducting assault actions towards Radkivka, Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi, Kivsharivka, Borivska Andriivka and Novoosynove.
Attempts to break into our defences were repelled on the Lyman axis, where the occupiers attacked ten times towards the settlements of Novoselivka, Druzheliubivka and Lyman.
On the Sloviansk axis, the enemy carried out two assault actions in the area of the settlement of Rai-Oleksandrivka and towards Ozerne.
On the Kramatorsk axis, Russian invaders conducted two offensive actions towards Yurkivka and Fedorivka.
On the Kostiantynivka axis, 17 attacks were recorded. The invaders conducted assault actions in the areas of the settlement of Kostiantynivka and towards Kindrativka, Pavlivka, Toretske, Sofiivka, Novopavlivka and Novoselivka.
The enemy carried out 43 attacks on the Pokrovsk axis. The occupiers tried to advance towards the settlements of Dorozhnie, Nykanorivka, Bilytske, Novyi Donbas, Dobropillia, Vodiane, Shevchenko, Chernihivka, Matiasheve, Serhiivka, Vasylkivka, Udachne, Nadiia and Novopavlivka.
On the Oleksandrivka axis, the enemy twice conducted assault actions towards Ternove and Zelenyi Hai.
On the Huliaipole axis, the occupiers attacked the positions of our defenders five times. The enemy tried to advance towards the settlements of Verkhnia Tersa, Charivne and Hirke.
On the Orikhiv axis, our defenders stopped an enemy attempt to advance in the area of Pavlivka.
On the Dnipro axis, the enemy did not attempt to improve its positions.
On the Volyn and Polissia axes, no signs of the enemy forming offensive groupings were detected.
- Overall, over the past day Russian invaders’ losses amounted to 1,390 personnel. Also neutralised were three tanks, five armoured combat vehicles, 33 artillery systems, three multiple launch rocket systems, one air defence asset, five ground robotic systems, 1,435 unmanned aerial vehicles, and 392 units of the enemy’s motor vehicles.
