Separate funds have been set aside to support defence-industry enterprises, including compensation for costs, preventing bankruptcies, interest on loans, and payments to employees.

Russia has allocated 26.178bn roubles ($312m) for applied defence research, and a further 10.233bn roubles ($121.9m) for the development and production of various types of drones.

In addition, 687.6bn roubles, about $8.19bn, has been earmarked for the purchase of drones for the National Guard. They are planned to be used both in the war against Ukraine and within Russia to protect critical infrastructure, patrol cities, and monitor the population.
