At night, Russian forces attacked a residential building in the Kovpakivskyi district of the city of Sumy with a Molniya-type UAV. A woman was injured.
This was reported by Serhii Kryvosheienko, head of the Sumy City Military Administration.
“A 23-year-old woman was injured as a result of a UAV strike on a residential building. The Russian ‘Molniya’ hit at night between the 3rd and 4th floors of a high-rise block in the Kovpakivskyi district,” the statement said.
The victim’s condition is satisfactory and she is receiving the necessary medical care.
Window glazing and balcony frames were also damaged in several nearby buildings. The aftermath is being dealt with.
