One in five drones purchased by the Defence Procurement Agency (DOT) since July 2025 has been delivered to the military via the DOT-Chain Defence online weapons store. This was reported by the agency’s press service.

DOT-Chain Defence operates on the principle of an online shop, where service personnel independently decide—using state funds—which equipment the state will provide them with. In DOT-Chain Defence, a unit compiles its order itself, while the Defence Procurement Agency provides procurement support, including signing contracts with manufacturers and making payments.

The average delivery time for an item when it is in stock—from the moment of ordering to dispatch to the military—is eight days, the agency notes. In the case of pre-orders, it is a month and a half.

Among the items available to service personnel are ground robotic systems, electronic warfare equipment, all the main types of unmanned aerial vehicles, and munitions for them. The system is used by 500 combat units of Ukraine’s Defence Forces, the agency added.

By way of reminder, in more than a year of operation, the Defence Forces have received more than 1.3 million drones and other equipment through DOT-Chain Defence, with a total value of UAH 85 billion. Deliveries are carried out both directly via DOT-Chain Defence and under the “Army of Drones. Bonus” programme.
