Russians attacked the Ternopil region several times overnight on 20 October. Three energy facilities in Kremenets district and private households in Chortkiv district were damaged.
As of 8am, there is no information about any injured people. This was reported by the head of the Regional Military Administration, Taras Pastukh.
Relevant services are working at the attack sites.
“Night-time attacks on the Ternopil region: the enemy is deliberately trying to disable the energy infrastructure and leave the population without electricity and heating,” Pastukh said.
This is not the first time the enemy has attacked the region’s energy sector. On 18 October, energy facilities caught fire as a result of the strikes, causing power outages. The region’s energy infrastructure had been hit before as well.
