Prime Minister Serhii Koretskyi met with European Investment Bank Vice-President Karl Nehammer.

According to the head of government, they discussed speeding up the implementation of joint projects, including prioritising them in line with urgent needs.

“This includes protecting and restoring energy infrastructure, supporting state-owned companies, and restoring critical and social infrastructure in Ukrainian communities. Separately, we discussed ways to make the most effective possible use of EU guarantees under the Ukraine Investment Framework to finance priority investment projects in 2027,” Koretskyi added.

According to the Prime Minister, the parties supported the idea of creating a joint working group to review the portfolio, identify priority projects and accelerate their financing.

  • Since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion, the EIB Group’s financing for Ukraine has exceeded €4.5 billion, including a record €1.5 billion in 2025.
