The special account of NBU (National Bank of Ukraine) is open to raise funds and support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. During just one day almost UAH 300 million (in equivalent) has been transferred.

According to the public relations service of NBU, the money was transferred from businesses and citizens of Ukraine, as well as the international community (including EU, USA, Canada, Britain, etc.)

“We are grateful to everyone who has found an opportunity to support the Ukrainian army. We appreciate your support. It is extremely important for us. Together we believe in the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” said the head of NBU Kyrylo Shevchenko.

NBU addresses Ukrainian banks asking them not to charge a fee for transferring money to the special account since these funds are directed to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

We remind that NBU opened a special multi-currency account to raise funds for the army's needs due to the imposition of martial law, armed aggression of Russia, and danger for Ukraine’s state independence and its territorial integrity.

The bank details for transfer in UAH or foreign currency are on this link.
