The ballet show Radio and Juliet and Quatro will be performed on 27 May as part of the #supportUkraine initiative at the Potsdamer Platz Theater in Berlin.
The ballet Radio and Juliet is a symbiosis of a minimalist style direction by Romanian choreographer Edward Clug and music by the British band Radiohead. Created in 2005, the ballet’s choreography was a success in Europe, the United States, and Asia.
According to the organizers, the main goal of the show is to support Ukraine. All proceeds from ticket sales will go to the Tabletochki Charitable Foundation, which supports victims of the war in Ukraine. In particular, it helps evacuated families, doctors to manage with hospital equipment and rent outpatient apartments, provides psychological assistance.
The ballet soloist of the National Opera of Ukraine Artem Datsyshyn died on 17 March.
