Ballet soloist of the National Opera of Ukraine Artem Datsyshyn died due to the shelling of Russian troops. A member of the National Choreographic Union of Ukraine and Ukrainian ballet dancer Tetiana Borovyk announced this news.
"Friends, I would like to inform everyone who knew Artem Datsyshin, Dotsyk, that on 26 February 2022, he was caught by rashyst [russian fascist] fire, was severely wounded, and died in hospital. Goodbye, my dear man!" she wrote.
Artem Datsyshyn was born in Kherson and graduated from the Kyiv Choreographic School. He toured around the world. He participated in the performance of "Swan Lake," "The Nutcracker," "Giselle," "Romeo and Juliet," and many others.
During the missile attack on the residential building in Kyiv, the actress of Young theater, the honored artist of Ukraine Oksana Shvets, died.
