On the night of 3 September and the day before, Ukrainian forces struck a number of Russian military facilities in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. Among them were the BK-16 landing craft and the Krasukha-4 electronic warfare system near Sevastopol.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.
In Sevastopol, a Russian high-speed BK-16 transport and landing craft was hit. The military are currently уточнюють the extent of the damage.
The BK-16 is a Project 02510 boat, which the Russian military use to transport and land troops, including on unprepared coastline. It is also intended for patrol and counter-sabotage operations. The boat can carry up to 19 troops.
Another target was the mobile Krasukha-4 electronic warfare station in the area of temporarily occupied Sevastopol. The system is designed to suppress radar systems on aircraft, helicopters and drones, and can also affect communications equipment and other radio-electronic systems.
In addition, Ukrainian forces struck a drone control point of Russian troops in the area of Maryine in occupied Crimea.
In Donetsk Region, in the area of Zhelanne a drone storage facility belonging to one of the Russian army units was hit. Near Ilovaisk, an ammunition depot came under attack.
Strikes on Russian military facilities at the Vostochnyy training ground in Novopetrivka, Zaporizhzhya Region, are also reported.
The Defence Forces noted that the scale of the losses inflicted on the enemy is still being assessed. Work against Russian military targets continues.
