The company, best known for road contracts, won 7 of the 10 lots in a procurement tender to install power systems for the capital’s high-rise buildings.
LLC “Group of Companies ‘Autostrada’” won 7 of the 10 lots under a procurement tender to install backup power systems in Kyiv’s apartment buildings. LB.ua learned this from the tender results on Prozorro. According to the published winners’ data, Autostrada secured contracts worth a total of UAH 3.7bn.
The tender’s total expected value was UAH 4.358bn. The procurement was split into 10 lots, each corresponding to one of Kyiv’s districts. Autostrada bid to carry out contracts in all ten districts of the capital, but three lots were won by a competitor, LLC “Service Energy Solutions”. This firm will install power systems for the Shevchenkivskyi, Pecherskyi and Podilskyi districts of the capital for a total of UAH 370m (96 buildings in all).
Autostrada won tenders for Kyiv’s Holosiivskyi, Darnytskyi, Desnianskyi, Dniprovskyi, Obolonskyi, Sviatoshynskyi and Solomianskyi districts. In total, this covers 809 buildings. The largest number of buildings to be fitted with backup power systems will be in Darnytskyi district (206) and Desnianskyi district (180).
As a reminder, the project to install independent backup power systems in Kyiv’s apartment buildings is being implemented as part of the Resilience Plan. This particular strand is funded from the state budget. The procurement was announced and is being conducted by a subsidiary of the Naftogaz NJSC system, LLC “Naftogaz Bioenergy – A”.
According to LB.ua, the coordinator of this pilot programme is the Ukrainian President’s adviser Oleksandr Kubrakov. LLC “Naftogaz Bioenergy – A” has been designated as the operator responsible for procurement and for overseeing contractors’ service delivery. According to youcontrol, the head of this enterprise as of May 2026 is Ruslan Nychik. Until December 2025, Nychik headed the Service for Restoration and Infrastructure Development in Kyiv region. In the past, Nychik and Kubrakov worked on joint projects within private companies providing communal services for apartment buildings, including the “City for People” and “Eurocomunservice” networks.
LLC “Group of Companies ‘Autostrada’” is a well-known road construction contractor in Ukraine. In 2025, Autostrada received contracts from the Kyiv City State Administration for road repairs and metro construction worth UAH 18.5bn.
