Over the past day, Ukrainian forces struck eight pieces of Russian infrastructure that are “supporting the war”.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote about this on Telegram.
According to him, an oil refinery in the Yamalo-Nenets region was hit, as was the Sea Trade Port in Dagestan.
Facilities in the Moscow, Voronezh, Astrakhan and Bryansk regions were also struck.
“Russia continues its terror against Ukraine every day. And every day it receives a just response. I thank every soldier, everyone who ensures our long-range capability and precision,” the head of state said.
- On the night of 10 September, explosions were heard in Russia’s Makhachkala near the port. It is Russia’s only ice-free deep-water port on the Caspian Sea. It operates year-round and handles both liquid and dry cargo.
