The 1,700th day of the Russian Federation’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. In total, 206 combat engagements were recorded over the past day. The heaviest fighting took place on the Southern Slobozhanskyi axis.
This was stated in a report by the General Staff.
Yesterday, the enemy carried out one missile strike and 63 air strikes, including dropping 217 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the invaders used 8,784 kamikaze drones and conducted 2,607 attacks on населений areas and the positions of our troops.
In Sumy region, the settlements of Ulanove, Pysarivka, Korenok, Khotin, Mala Korchakivka, Yunakivka, Luzhky and Velyka Rybytsia came under enemy artillery fire. In addition, air strikes hit the areas of Pysarivka, Riznykivka and Sinne.
Over the past day, the Defence Forces’ aviation, missile troops and artillery struck a drone control point and two areas where enemy personnel were concentrated.
On the Northern Slobozhanskyi axis the invaders attacked four times in the areas of Tovstodubove, Korenok, Bunyachyne and Rivne.
On the Southern Slobozhanskyi axis Ukrainian units repelled 26 enemy attacks. The occupiers tried to advance in the areas of Kutkivka, Lyman, Starytsia, Mala Vovcha, Izbytske, Vilcha, Okhrimivka, Zakharivka, Karaichne, Bochkovе, Zybynе and Radkivka.
On the Kupiansk axis the enemy did not conduct assault operations over the past day.
Attempts to advance were stopped on the Lyman axis, where our defenders repelled 12 attacks in the areas of Kolodiazi, Dibrova, Novomykhailivka, Druzheliubivka, Chervonyi Stav, Zelena Dolyna and Lyman.
On the Sloviansk axis the invaders carried out seven attacks in the areas of Yampil, Pyskunivka and Mykolaivka.
On the Kramatorsk axis the enemy did not conduct assault operations over the past day.
On the Kostiantynivka axis 15 attacks were recorded. The occupiers conducted assault operations in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Novoselivka, Druzhkivka and Novopavlivka.
On the Pokrovsk axis our defenders stopped 21 attacks. The enemy attacked in the areas of Serhiivka and Molodetske, and also carried out assaults towards Sofiivka, Vilne, Kucheriv Yar, Hannivka, Chernihivka, Dobropillia and Myrne.
On the Oleksandrivka axis the enemy did not conduct active offensive operations.
On the Huliaipole axis 11 attacks by the invaders were repelled in the areas of Rizdvianka, Dolynka, Hirke, Charivne and Yehorivka.
On the Orikhiv axis our defenders repelled two enemy attacks in the areas of Zarichne and Prymorske.
On the Dnipro axis the occupiers did not conduct active offensive operations over the past day.
On the Volyn and Polissia axes the situation remains without significant changes. No signs of the enemy forming offensive groupings have been detected.
Ukrainian defenders continue the systematic destruction of the enemy, put up effective resistance along all sections of the front, and inflict tangible losses on the occupiers.
- In total, over the past day the losses of the Russian invaders amounted to 1,560 personnel. Also neutralised were nine tanks, five armoured combat vehicles, 42 artillery systems, three multiple launch rocket systems, four missiles, 12 ground robotic systems, 1,578 unmanned aerial vehicles, 293 vehicles and four units of the enemy’s special equipment.
