Last night, 13 regions of the country were attacked by the Russians. In the Sumy region, police and the State Emergency Service came under fire; in the Zaporizhzhia region, four rescuers were wounded after a drone struck a vehicle.
Interior Minister Ivan Vyhivskyi wrote about this.
Units within the Interior Ministry system are working around the clock to counter such drone attacks. National Guard troops, border guards and police officers, as part of mobile fire groups, detect and destroy aerial targets in various directions, the minister wrote.
Over the past week, the units destroyed more than 4,000 enemy drones.
About 3,600 of them were in the combat zone, along with more than 430 long-range UAVs, including Shaheds and Gerberas, which were flying deep into the country.
- Last week, Interior Ministry units carried out more than 800 deployments to deal with the aftermath of Russian shelling.
