The Budget Committee has backed the draft State Budget of Ukraine for 2027. All recommendations provided by the committee will be worked through while the document is being prepared for its second reading.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhii Koretskyi wrote about this.
"This is the budget of a country at war, and our shared task is to meet the needs of security and defence, preserve financial resilience and social payments, and guarantee Ukrainians the necessary support," he said.
Consideration of the draft State Budget at first reading is expected during the next plenary week.
"The government remains ready for constructive joint work," Koretskyi added.
- The Budget Committee has processed more than 5,000 amendments and produced 90 final conclusions. Parliament plans to consider the document at first reading on or around 28 October.
