The 1,702nd day of the Russian Federation’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. Over the past day, 187 combat clashes were recorded. On the Pokrovsk sector of the front, 21 engagements took place.
As the General Staff reported, yesterday the enemy carried out one missile strike and 88 air strikes, during which it dropped 289 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the invaders used 10,414 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,604 attacks on populated areas and our troops’ positions, 67 of them using multiple launch rocket systems.
Enemy shelling, in particular, hit the settlements of Bezsalivka, Korenok, Tovstodubove, Oleksiivka, Kucherivka, Rohizne, Mala Korchakivka, Bachivsk, Mohrytsia, Pysarivka, Volfyne, Khrapivshchyna, Sukhodil, Vovkivka, Luzhky, Hirky, Ulanove, Fotovyzh, Novokostiantynivka, Zarichne, Baranivka, Korchakivka, Shalyhyne, and Obody in Sumy Region; and Khrinivka in Chernihiv Region. Air strikes hit the settlements of Pysarivka, Kyianytsia, Pustohorod, and Novokostiantynivka.
Over the past day, aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defence Forces struck three areas where enemy personnel and equipment were concentrated.
On the North Slobozhanskyi and Kursk sectors, over the past day the aggressor carried out two air strikes, using six guided aerial bombs, and conducted 47 attacks on our troops’ positions and populated areas, one of them using multiple launch rocket systems.
On the South Slobozhanskyi sector, Ukrainian units repelled five enemy attacks. The invaders attacked in the areas of the settlements of Starytsia and Vovchanski Khutory, and towards the settlement of Izbytske.
On the Kupiansk sector, the enemy tried nine times to improve its position, conducting offensive actions towards Radkivka.
Attempts to break into our defences were repelled on the Lyman sector, where the occupiers carried out nine assault actions, including in the areas of the settlements of Kolodiazi and Zarichne, and towards the settlements of Hlushchenkove, Derylove and Lyman.
On the Sloviansk sector, the enemy carried out two attacks in the area of Ozerne and towards Mykolaivka.
On the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy did not conduct assault actions.
On the Kostiantynivka sector, seven attacks were recorded. The invaders conducted offensive actions in the area of the settlement of Kostiantynivka and towards Novopavlivka.
The enemy carried out 21 attacks on the Pokrovsk sector. The occupiers tried to advance in the areas of the settlements of Sofiivka, Dobropillia, Bilytske and Molodetske, and towards the settlements of Vilne, Kucheriv Yar, Hannivka, Svitle, Krasnopillia, Serhiivka and Muravka.
On the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy attacked once towards Ternove.
On the Huliaipole sector, the occupiers attacked our defenders’ positions 11 times. The enemy tried to advance towards the settlements of Rizdvianka, Dolynka, Hirke and Yehorivka.
On the Orikhiv sector, the enemy tried twice to attack towards Pavlivka.
On the Dnipro sector, the occupiers carried out one assault action.
On the Volyn and Polissia sectors, no signs of the enemy forming offensive groupings were detected.
- Overall, over the past day Russian invaders’ losses amounted to 2,250 personnel. Also neutralised were 3 tanks, 8 armoured combat vehicles, 44 artillery systems, one multiple launch rocket system, three air defence assets, 7 ground robotic systems, 1,750 unmanned aerial vehicles, 363 vehicles and two pieces of special equipment.
