The 1,705th day of Russia’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. Over the past day, 193 combat clashes took place along the frontline.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.
Russian forces carried out 83 air strikes, dropped 281 guided aerial bombs, deployed 10,010 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,276 attacks on populated areas and positions of Ukrainian troops, including 24 using multiple-launch rocket systems.
According to the General Staff, missile troops and artillery of the Defence Forces struck an area where enemy personnel and equipment were concentrated, a drone control point and an enemy command-and-observation post.
Situation on the Frontline Axes
On the North Slobozhanskyi and Kursk axes, Russian forces carried out two air strikes using six guided aerial bombs and conducted 51 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas.
On the South Slobozhanskyi axis, Ukrainian units repelled eight enemy attacks. On the Kupiansk axis, the Russians tried four times to improve their positions towards Radkivka.
On the Lyman axis, the occupiers carried out six assault actions in the area of Zarichne and towards Stavky, Dibrova and Novoselivka. On the Sloviansk axis, the enemy attacked four times in the area of Kryva Luka. On the Kramatorsk axis, no assault actions were recorded.
On the Kostiantynivka axis, Russian forces carried out 13 attacks in the area of Kostiantynivka.
On the Pokrovsk axis, the enemy tried 16 times to advance in the areas of Sofiivka, Vilne, Novyi Donbas, Vasylivka and Molodetske, as well as towards Dobropillia, Krasnopillia and Serhiivka.
On the Oleksandrivka axis, the occupiers attacked once towards Zaporizke.
On the Huliaipole axis, Russian forces tried 13 times to advance in the areas of Dobropillia and Bilohiria, as well as towards Verkhnia Tersa, Kopani, Huliaipilske and Yehorivka.
On the Orikhiv axis, one attempted attack towards Novoiaковлівка was recorded. On the Prydniprovia axis, the Russians did not conduct assault actions.
On the Volyn axis, no signs of the enemy forming offensive groupings were detected.
Russian forces also shelled border settlements in Sumy and Chernihiv regions. Svesa, Paliivka and Pysarivka came under air strikes.
