Search and rescue efforts continue at the site of a five-storied apartment block ruined by a Russian missile strike in Chasiv Yar (Donetsk Region) late on 9 July.
According to the local office the State Emergencies Service, the death toll has reached 24 as of 1.55 p.m.
"Five more dead bodies can be seen. Works are under way," it said.
Nine residents have been rescued.
Over 20 people may still be trapped under the rubble, including a nine-year-old boy.
