Ukraine's Interior Ministry has confirmed that six people were killed and up to 35 remain under the rubble after a russian rocket strike on a five-story residential building in Chasiv Yar, Donetsk Region.
Rescuers said they could talk to at least two people trapped under the rubble.
Russia fired four rockets from an Uragan MLRS, the Interior Ministry said.
Both the Interior Ministry and regional governor Serhiy Kyrylenko said the two stairwells in an apartment block were completely destroyed.
