The Ukrainian parliament has stripped MP Vadym Novynskyy (Party of Regions, Opposition Bloc) of mandate, Voice MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak has told LB.ua.
The decision was backed by 295 MPs.
Earlier, one of the wealthiest Ukrainian businessmen, Novynskyy tendered his resignation, saying he wants to focus on "humanitarian projects" and "service to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church".
