"I talked to and awarded our defenders. They are resolute, their eyes project confidence in our victory. Thank you for fighting for Ukraine's freedom," he said on Telegram.
He also visited his native Kryvyy Rih District.
"I held a meeting on the situation in the region and in military units. Despite martial law, cities must function efficiently and be fully provided with food and medicines," he said.
He heard a report by the chief of the Kakhovka operational group of forces, Brig Gen Mykhaylo Drapatyy.
Zelenskyy was briefed on the wartime operation of heavy industry.
Russia has been shelling Kryvyy Rih on a daily basis from occupied Kherson Region.
