Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte has visited the devastated town of Irpin in Kyiv Region as part of his working visit to Ukraine, local mayor Oleksandr Markushyn has said on Telegram.
"Just chatted with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, who visited Irpin as part of a working visit to Ukraine," he said.
The mayor gave Rutte a brochure, describing the damage caused to the town by Russian troops, and asked for help in rebuilding the destroyed houses, schools and kindergartens.
"Thanked Mr Rutte for his weighty support for Ukraine and Ukrainians," the mayor added.
The president of Indonesia and the Australian prime minister also visited Irpin when they came to Ukraine in June.
