The Yellow Ribbon movement of resistance to occupiers is active in temporarily occupied Crimea, the Ukrainian president's representative office in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea has said on Facebook.

"The Yellow Ribbon movement of resistance to the occupiers took to work in temporarily occupied Simferopol, like it did in Kherson and Melitopol," the statement reads.

The activists put up postcards with photos of the mass protest of Crimeans on 26 February 2014, saying "Crimea is Ukraine. Not only since 1954, but always!", "Crimea is Ukraine. We are coming back!" and "Time for resistance! Time to fight! It's time to go home!"

Earlier, it was reported that Crimean youth started singing Ukrainian songs more often even during official events. These are songs written by Ukrainian singers who openly talk about the war unleashed by russia in Ukraine.
