A special unit of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry's Main Intelligence Directorate has rescued five Ukrainians from captivity in the occupied part of Kherson Region.
The Coordination HQ for POWs said that among those five are a serviceman, a former police officer and three civilians. One person has a serious combat injury.
All of them were provided with necessary care and treatment.
No other details of the special operation have been disclosed.
