Ukrainian intelligence has obtained further evidence of Russia's abduction of Ukrainian children from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
As reported by the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, during a large-scale cyber operation, intelligence operatives gained access to the servers of the so-called "Crimean government."
The servers contained documentation confirming the forced displacement of children from the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson, Zaporizhzhya, Donetsk, and Luhansk Regions of Ukraine.
DIU specialists accessed several thousand lists of deported children, characteristics of abducted children left without guardianship, illegal decisions on appointing new guardians from Russian citizens for relocated orphan children, and their new addresses of residence and accommodation.
Andriy Yusov, a DIU representative, stated that thousands of files containing "priceless information for justice" regarding one of Russia's biggest war crimes – the abduction of Ukrainian children – have already been transferred to law enforcement agencies.
"They will be analyzed and added to criminal proceedings. The obtained information will make it possible to find and return the abducted children to their homeland, as well as to punish those involved in this crime," he said.
