President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has visited the frontline command post of the defenders of Kupyansk, Kharkiv Region.
He visited and awarded the soldiers, the president's press service reported.
"The soldiers in the Kupyansk sector are defending the peaceful life of Ukrainians - the people of Kharkiv Region. I thank the soldiers for their service and defence of our country! I wish them victory, to be strong and not to lose the initiative," the president said.
Yesterday, the president visited the south of Ukraine: Odesa, Mykolayiv and Kherson regions.
Kupyansk was liberated from the Russians in autumn 2022. Since the summer of 2023, they have been trying to retake this logistically important city.
