JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya has launched a high-performance well with a flow rate of 280 thousand cubic metres of gas and 120 tonnes of gas condensate per day. This was reported by Naftogaz Group.
The new well was spudded as an exploration well to explore promising deposits of the gas condensate field. Its depth is 3 km 200 m. The field's resources are currently estimated at about 1 bcm of gas.
Ukrgasvydobuvannya CEO Oleh Tolmachyov said that this well is one of the most promising in the company's assets.
Naftogaz Group CEO Oleksiy Chernyshov noted that gas from the new wells is being pumped into underground gas storage facilities and that the pumping rate is higher than last year.
