Russia must be held responsible for the deaths of Ukrainians and the destruction of civilian infrastructure.
This was stated by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland in response to the latest shelling of Ukraine.
"Poland strongly condemns Russia's continued attacks on the territory of Ukraine. Moscow's latest actions prove that its goal is further war, not peace," the statement said.
As reported, on the evening of 4 April, Russia fired a ballistic missile at the centre of a residential neighbourhood in Kryvyy Rih. The missile hit the area of a children's playground. So far, 20 people have been reported dead, including nine children. Twenty-nine apartment blocks were damaged.
After the missile strike in Kryvyy Rih, the Russian army conducted an additional drone strike, killing another person.
- Reportedly, 74 people were injured in the ballistic missile and Shahed strike. 20 people were killed, including 9 children.
- Ukrainian cities and villages declared 6 April a day of mourning for the victims of the attack. They were joined by a number of embassies.
