The 1,657th day of the Russian Federation’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. In total, 237 combat engagements were recorded over the past day, with the highest number taking place on the Pokrovsk axis.
This was stated in a report by the General Staff.
Yesterday, the Russian military carried out 87 air strikes, dropping 313 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the invaders used 8,812 kamikaze drones and conducted 2,646 attacks on populated areas and the positions of our troops.
In Sumy region, the settlements of Korenok, Pysarivka, Ulanove, Prohres, Khotin, Ivolzhanske, Tovstodubove and Yastrubshchyna came under enemy artillery fire. In addition, air strikes hit areas around the settlements of Yampil, Pysarivka and Vakalivshchyna.
Over the past day, the Defence Forces’ aviation, missile troops and artillery struck one area where enemy manpower was concentrated and one artillery system.
On the North Slobozhanskyi and Kursk axes over the past day, our defenders stopped one enemy assault towards Velykyi Prykil.
On the South Slobozhanskyi axis Ukrainian units repelled 10 enemy attacks. The invaders tried to advance in the areas of Izbytske and Starytsia, as well as towards Ustynivka and Khatnie.
On the Kupiansk axis the enemy attacked seven times in the areas of Hlushkivka, Kurylivka and Kivsharivka, as well as towards Novoplatonivka.
Attempts to break into our defences were repelled on the Lyman axis, where the occupiers attacked seven times in the areas of Dibrova, Stavky and Lyman, as well as towards Novoserhiivka and Novoselivka.
On the Sloviansk axis the enemy carried out five assault actions in the areas of Ozerne and Kryva Luka, as well as towards Rai-Oleksandrivka.
On the Kramatorsk axis the occupiers attacked once towards the settlement of Fedorivka.
On the Kostiantynivka axis 12 attacks were recorded. The invaders conducted assault actions in the area of Kostiantynivka, as well as towards Novoselivka and Toretske.
The largest number of assault actions was recorded on the Pokrovsk axis, where our defenders stopped 43 attacks. The enemy was active in the areas of Bilytske, Serhiivka, Udachne and Molodetske, and also carried out assaults towards Toretsk, Sofiivka, Vilne, Dorozhnie, Novyi Donbas, Matiasheve, Shevchenko, Chernihivka, Dobropillia, Myrne, Vasylivka, Novoserhiivka and Novopavlivka.
On the Oleksandrivka axis the invaders carried out one attack towards the settlement of Rybne.
On the Huliaipole axis the occupiers attacked seven times. The enemy tried to advance towards Vozdvyzhivka, Kosivtseve, Verkhniia Tersa and Tsvitkove.
On the Orikhiv axis over the past day the enemy did not conduct assault actions.
On the Dnipro axis over the past day the enemy did not conduct assault actions.
On the Volyn and Polissia axes no signs of the enemy forming offensive groupings were detected.
- Overall, over the past day Russian invader losses amounted to 1,540 personnel. One tank, six armoured combat vehicles, 51 artillery systems, seven multiple launch rocket systems, four air defence assets, nine ground robotic systems, 1,473 unmanned aerial vehicles, 591 vehicles and three units of special equipment were also destroyed.
