On 20 October, hourly power outages will be introduced in several regions of Ukraine. This was reported by Ukrenergo.
Power limitation schedules for industry will be in force in all regions of Ukraine from 06:00 to 23:59.
In some regions, during the same period, hourly outage schedules will be applied for all categories of consumers, amounting to one to two groups.
The restrictions are due to the aftermath of massive Russian attacks on energy facilities.
Ukrenergo stresses that, because of Russian shelling, the situation in the power system may change. Consumers are urged to follow updates and outage schedules on the official pages of local regional power distribution companies.
Ukrainians are also asked to use electricity sparingly when power is restored according to the schedule.
- Over the past day, the enemy continued carrying out drone attacks on Ukraine’s civilian energy infrastructure, and overnight and in the morning launched a missile strike on a number of energy facilities. Overall, due to attacks by the Russian Federation, 28 energy facilities have been damaged.
