Sweden will allocate an additional 60 million Swedish kronor (around €5.4m) to the Ukraine Transport Support Fund.

This was reported by Minister for Recovery, Infrastructure and Transport Mykola Kalashnyk.

According to him, the contribution is part of the Swedish government’s winter aid package for Ukraine. The money will go towards restoring infrastructure after Russian attacks, as well as the necessary machinery and equipment.

"Sweden was among the initiators of the Fund’s creation and is now increasing its contribution. This provides more opportunities for the first projects, through which we will test the speed and effectiveness of the new aid mechanism", – the head of the Ministry for Recovery commented.
