In Kyiv’s Sviatoshynskyi district, a man was killed in a shooting and another was wounded and taken to hospital. Law enforcement officers detained the suspected gunman.

According to preliminary information, the incident occurred during a conflict between a group of men in the street. During the argument, one of those involved pulled out a traumatic pistol and fired several shots towards his opponents.
As a result of the shooting, one of the men died from his injuries. The other victim was taken to hospital, where medics are providing the necessary care.
The man who fired the shots was detained. Police continue to establish all the circumstances of the incident.

According to preliminary police data, the shots were fired by a man who had been brought to the facility for violating mobilisation legislation. As a result of the incident, six people were injured — three police officers and three servicemen. All those injured were taken to hospital, and the gunman was detained.
