The Minister of Defence of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov addressed foreign partners from ruined Hosotmel and urged them to provide Ukraine with long-range weapons. The press service of the Ministry of Defence reports that.
"We need not only sanctions but also weapons. If this job is delayed, the same [war – tr.] will be in Europe," – the minister noted.
As he said, there is a need not only for Soviet-made weapons but also for modern, NATO-style ones.
"We need multiple rocket launchers, tanks, armoured vehicles, and 155 mm artillery, not 152 like it was made in the Soviet Union, for us to receive them and finish the job…" - Reznikov stated.
It has been reported that Biden's administration is ready to significantly widen the range of weapons that it's providing for Ukraine. In particular, it's about helicopters and drones for the coast guard, etc. Germany has also confirmed its intention to supply weapons.
