On Wednesday, 8 February, the Swedish parliament, the Riksdag, supported the government's proposal to introduce additional amendments to the budget, which provide for the allocation of military aid to Ukraine in the amount of 4.3 billion Swedish kronor ($406.7 million), Yevropeyska Pravda has reported.
Sweden will provide Ukraine with military equipment that the Swedish Armed Forces will be able to do without for a certain period of time. This includes demining equipment, Robot 57 light anti-tank weapons, and Swedish CV 90 infantry fighting vehicles.
It is noted that legislative changes to the budget will come into force on 13 February.
